I've a couple of things to show off today, you lucky, lucky people. First up is a bit of promo art for the Lightning Strike Presents comic. The other pic is some character & spaceship design sketches for a new story for the next issue of Short Sharp Shocks.

Cheetara - Inking Experiment

For my first attempt at inking with a brush I picked this Cheetara from the new Thundercats. The verdict: brushes are good.

Transormers pin-up work in progress

Short Sharp Shocks Issue 3 is currently in the "Get up off your arse and start doing something" stage of the creative process. So here's a pin-up I'm working on so I can hopefully sell a few prints of it on the convention circuit this year. Its just a photo I took on my phone cause turning on my scanner just seemed like way to much effort last night.

Blackstar Cover Line Art

Comici Gael, the guys behind the very sucessful Ri Ra Irish language comic, have set up an imprint (Abandoned Comics)and are launching a few new comics. One of them is BlackStar, written by Mike Lynch with artwork by Dwayne Moloney. I've been asked to do the cover art for the first issue, so here's a peek at the line art for it.
